Straight-talking Cornish movers

We move Cornwall for a living, and Cornwall is not an easy county to move. It’s long and thin, hung off a single main road, with the sea close on both sides and towns strung out between long stretches of nothing much. A move here means high-hedged lanes with no passing place, granite cottages built for smaller furniture, streets in St Ives and Mousehole that a full-size lorry simply can’t enter, and a summer when the A30 fills with holiday traffic.

None of that is a problem if you plan for it. That’s really what we’re selling: judgement about access, and the care to protect your things and get them where they’re going whole. We survey before we quote, we say so when a big lorry can’t reach a door, and we bring a smaller van and carry when we have to.

What we actually do

Full house and flat moves across every TR, PL and EX corner of Cornwall. Office and business moves, planned around your trading hours. Packing, from the whole home to just the breakables. Clean, secure storage — with self storage around Truro the thing we’re asked about most. And the long ones: up-country moves to London, Bristol, the Midlands and the North, and household removals from Cornwall into France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.

A written quote you can actually read, worked out from the size of the move, the distance and the access, not plucked from the air. And plain talk throughout: if something’s going to be awkward, we’d rather tell you now than surprise you on the day.
